Pulsing rhythms, memorable melodies, and soulful vocals are the key ingredients in the music of Ross Vegas. Formed in 2002 by frontman Tim Bourchier, the band has recently released their debut
album "FLOW". Recording was done at Vogville Studios, with renown
producer/engineer Jonathan Fluevog at the helm. The result is a collection of well-crafted songs that are cooly grooving and laced with a gritty edge.
The core of the band, Tim Bourchier(guitar & vocals),Rick Maksiymew (keys) and Smash (bass), like a chocolate dipped ice-cream cone, always surrounds itself with some of Vancouver's tastiest players to ensure full flavor.
Extremely versatile, Ross Vegas performs as a smoldering 3-piece combo in intimate venues, or as a high-energy 5-to-7-piece funk/soul/reggae machine in larger rooms. With a mix of originals and ""Ross Vegasified" " covers (Bob Marley, Sublime, Stevie Wonder, Ben Harper, Beck,
Beatles), Ross Vegas always puts on a memorable show.
